Admissions

The governors of Weston Favell CE Primary School are the Admissions Authority for our school, the policy is reviewed annually and ensures that we not only suppport Christian families, but families in our local community too.

Reception applications are made on the NCC website by parents and our admission panel are respsonsible for applying our admission criteria to the applications. The places are offered by the Local Authority. If you are a family who attends church please ensure you collect a form from school which you complete, informing us of the church you attend The form should be returned to the School, we then contact your worship leader or rector to verify your application.

In-year applications, must also be made through the NCC website and places are allocated according to our school admission policy if vacancies exist in the required year.

Admissions Appeals Timetable

The timetable for admission appeals is:

  • Thursday 16th April 2020 - Notification of schools allocations
  • Monday 18th May 2020 - Deadline for returning Notice of Appeal Forms to Peterborough Diocese
  • Appeal Hearings - Held by Friday 17th July 2020

 

Following the National Offer Day on 16 April 2020, the deadline for lodging an on-time appeal is 21 May 2020 (9am).

The Appeal Clerk will send notification of the Hearing (Venue, Date and Time) and the Statement of Case to the Appellants by 5 June 2020.

On-time appeals will be heard by 30 June 2020.

 Proposed appeal hearing dates are between Thursday 25 June and Tuesday 30 June 2020 (inclusive).

Decision letters will be sent within 5 working days of the appeal hearing, subject to any unforeseen circumstances.
