School Information

Weston Favell CE Primary School opened on its current site in 2006. It is a 2 form entry primary school with a pre school and a before and after school.

There are currently 420 children on roll. We have fourteen classrooms, an ICT suite, 3 libraries, a hall with fixed apparatus, a kitchen, a worship/expressive arts studio, a studio which also accommodates PALS, the before and after school club, and a community room which accommodates Shining Stars, our pre school. Weston Favell CE Primary School is set in attractive grounds with a large field, sensory garden and an adventure play area.
Class teachers are responsible for the children’s welfare and delivery of the curriculum. Work is planned jointly in Year Teams of two teachers with close liaison, communication and support from our teaching assistants.

During planning Year Teams share the preparation of work, drawing on different experiences, knowledge and expertise to ensure work is relevant and well matched to the needs of the children, in this way, we are able to utilise the strengths of a large staff team and enhance the quality of learning and teaching here at Weston Favell.

Weston Favell CE Primary School converted to academy status in November 2012. We formed Northampton Primary Academy Trust Partnership (NPAT) with 4 other primary schools: Lings, Headlands, Ecton Brook and Abington Vale. In 2015 Simon de Senlis joined the Academy Trust.
We work together to offer high quality sports, drama and musical opportunities as well as ensure that every child achieves their academic potential. Our long term aim is to provide outstanding educational opportunities for every child in our schools
